One Hundred years ago Dick's Oberon Saloon was a popular fixture in Eureka's Old Town. Owner Dick Tierney had been a bar keep at various other Eureka establishments before opening the Oberon, which became the choice for travelers staying at the Hotel Vance. Now, after series of businesses have occupied the historic building over the years, it's the Oberon again. Chef Nicholas Kohl has opened Oberon Grill for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
